    Hi,

I am a newbie, and I am desgining a website. I am using tables in Dreamweaver (I know this may not be the right choice, but its the only way I know), and inside the cells I'm placing .swf buttons.

When I preview in Safari, Chrome, and Opera it looks like it should. However, when I preview in Firefox, the buttons are too spaced out vertically, as if the cells had increased their height (making the buttons very far apart from eachother).

I understand Firefox is one of the best browsers, if not the best, so I assume it is me who is doing something wrong.

I would greatly appreciate any type of help. Thank you in advance.

The code is too long to paste here, so I have uploaded it in order to provide a link; its a text document.

This site works displaying everything, on the same page, there are no popups, if that it what you mean.

Not knowing spit about Flash (on purpose), it looks like the flash items are 8px taller than the table rows. My guess is FF may be forcing the table rows taller to fit.

    What Ronald said.

The other thing to consider here is that Flash is not only completely unnecessary for this particular menu, but that it also may cause harm to your site's performance. A lot of users won't or can't install Flash, and in this case, the exact same thing could be accomplished using CSS and an image swap.

    Use something like this instead.

One other thing: the popup didn't come from the guy's code, it came from the file sharing site he used to upload it.

Hell, li a:hover{color#000;} would do it, no images required.

True dat, but if he wants to use that font, there would be. That's the only reason I said it.
