I don't know if IE9 and windows 7 is the culprit, but IE9 in vista works fine and chrome and firefox in windows 7 work fine, so right now the outstanding factor is IE9 and windows 7. The webpage I am referring to is:

    www.captainmikedaniel.com

The text on the pages when using the IE9 and windows 7 lays out completely different. It extends far beyond what it does in any other browser or even with IE9 on a different platform. I have attached a screen shot of of what is happening with the text.

    It's not IE9. I know it's the only place it's appearing, but it's not IE9.

When you have floats, you have to clear them or you'll get things like this. Put this just above your bottomNav div and you should be fine.
    Code:
    <div style="clear: both;"></div>
