    <source src="001.mp4" width="640" height="375" type="video/mp4" />
    <source src="001.webmvp8.webm" width="640" height="356" type="video/webm" />
    <source src="001.ogv" width="640" height="356" type="video/ogg" />
    <object data="001.swf" width="640" height="375" type="application/x-shockwave-flash">
    <param name="MOVIE" value="001.swf"/>
    <param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" />
    <!-- Image Fallback. Typically the same as the poster image. -->
    <img src="drive.jpg" width="640" height="375" alt="Poster Image"
    title="No video playback capabilities." />

    Above is an example of how you would typically embed video in the browser with HTML5. At the present we have some issues with proprietary codecs and copyright laws that are causing us to use multiple video formats and still have to provide a Flash fallback video player. I know it seems like much but it is worth the effort.

    If you want to view the working example and test it on multiple browsers, click here
    BTW: Safari does not load the poster image for the video, it jumps to the first frame.
    Their are programs out there you can download to convert your video to other formats like .ogg and Mp4 or .webm. Just visit
    I have gotten into the habit of not judging other designers/developers work, but this is my Microsoft Meandering time so I'm MEANDERING...
