Hi everyone. I am new to this site, and had to come and maybe get some help. I have designed a site for friend and am now at a stand still. The site is not displaying well in internet explorer. I first had developed the site by using tables. Changed the index page where there is two divs in one div "container." I originally thought that was the problem, but its obviously not. I really need to get this fixed because I know according to recent data that 56 percent of internet use IE, even though I choose not to. Oh yea, and the site shows up great in safari, chrome and FF. Thanks!

    Any feedback/help would be appreciated

Give it 'visibility: visible' for the IE code. It could be inheriting it wrong.

Since I don't have flash installed, but I'm getting a prompt to install flash from the embedded you tube video... but not for the banner, it could be the way the banner is embedded into the page.

IE is real particular about margins being set to auto on the width of a div. since the banner is specified to be the same width as the container div, IE may be trying to handle it and failing...

might try the overflow:hidden; or specify the margin:0; on the header div to tell the browser to shut up and do what I say... I would also probably reduce the width of the Flash by at least 2 px if you do the above and 6px if you don't change the margins to 0...( 3px margin if you don't specify )

Or increase the size of the header, if the flash movie is fixed size.
