    Hi everyone!

I just landed a website contract with a fashion designer who creates custom wear for women 40-60 years of age.

She wants to show her collection, and since it's custom, she wants clients to be able to see different fabrics that each item is available in. The items are only for PREVIEW purposes since a purchase requires an appointment for measurements and consultation.

Here's the tricky part: She wants to be able to login to add, edit and delete fabrics as they come and go, and to be able to mark a fabric as "sold out" if it's unavailable.

She'd like the whole site to use a CMS, and I'm most familiar with wordpress, but I normally just edit existing themes, not create them from scratch.

Is there an easy solution to this that I'm not thinking of?

All ideas welcomed! Please let me know you're opinion!

If what she wants is to display swatches of fabrics, as well ad an image of the item, a WP theme with a gallery template might work.

She could create pages rather than posts, and put the image of the garment in the top of the page along with a picture of it, with a gallery array of fabric swatches below.

The pages could be arranged in a drop-down menu under headings like "Dresses" "Skirts" "Sportswear", whatever she chooses. So the theme would have to support custom menus as well.
