    If you have just uploaded your files to the web server, you should wait a full 12 hours before this makes you think something's wrong. My server is extremely slow when I uploaded my changes. Maybe even give it a full 24 hours.

    Actually, I think you've coded the .svg file incorrectly. You have to code it into your HTML or into an xml file called into the browser - I don't think you can just specify the image as you havae here:
    body {background-image:url(img/logo16.svg); background-size: 100% 100%; }

    TylerSmith - the files are all uploaded and available on the site, just not showing.

    AlphaMare - I should be able to post the .svg as a background file within my css according to a number of websites out there but I will have to try to put it into the html as an object, I just wanted to keep my html as clean as possible..

    Does anyone else have any other suggestions?

    Hi John43,
    If you still have problem with this, here is how it worked for me.
    The server actually doesn't recognize the format and it doesn't send it as a picture. Ask somebody on the server side to create a file .htacces in your website folder. This .htacces file should contain these two lines:
    AddType image/svg+xml svg
    AddType image/svg+xml svgz

    After that the server will recognize SVG as an image and will render it.
    Hope it helps.
