    Hello everyone,

My question is why are my links taking on a hover effect when the visitor's mouse is just on the same line as the link? I know this has to do with an anchor tag being a block-level element, but I want the hover effects to only happen when the user's mouse is directly on top of the anchor text.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think anchor tags are block-level. Whatever you are linking is probably block-level.

Anchor tags are not block-level - they go inside block-level elements.

They can, however, be made to display as block level elements in CSS, which can be useful for tiered navs (among other things).

I also got the suspended message.

Hi all, I still need help with this problem, now with the child links inside the child div. They hover incorrectly. See the bottom drop down menu for what I'm talking about.

Try: atlantareviewgroup.com . It's up and live now.

What exact hover effect are you looking for and what is it doing instead.
