    Hello everyone,

    I've been trying to learn what is demonstrated at this page: http://www.pmob.co.uk/temp/headerreplacement3.htm, and I want to use a related technique to put a h1 element under the home page you all have seen ten times now at http://www.atlantareviewgroup.com. I don't want to have a link there in the header for the home page, but I do want to have a h1 element to fall back on if images and/or CSS is turned off.

    Can you help me?
    I'm not quite sure how to do it.

    First, set position:relative on that header div, and set the z-index to 1.
    Then, put the h1inside that div, set it to position:relative, and give it a z-index of -1.

    Here's the solution I achieved with the guys over at Sitepoint:

    markup:
    Code:
     <h1>Atlanta Review Group<span></span></h1>
    styles:
    Code:
    h1{
    height:206px;
    width:626px;
    position:relative;
    padding:0;
    margin:0;
    text-align:center;
    }
    /* mac hide */
    h1{overflow:hidden;}
    /* end hide */
    h1 span{
    background:url("header.jpg");
    position:absolute;
    left:0;
    top:0;
    display:block;
    height:206px;
    width:626px;
    }
    Hope that can help someone!
