    This is a problem which gets me all the time with dreamweaver, positioning the navbar as I would like it.

    It looks like this..

    I would like it to be centered and the text of the nav bar to be under the header div and also the same size, I applied the same width properties of the header but it isn't working.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    This is the sort of reason people hand code! I can't unfortunately instruct you on how to fix this, but if you paste me your HTML and CSS, or better yet - zip up your site and put it on here, I'll be happy to fix it for you.

    This should be what you need to center it:

    HTML Code:
    #nav ul {
        overflow: hidden;
        padding: 0;
        width: 100%;
        text-align: center;
    }
    #nav ul li {
        list-style-type: none;
        display: inline-block;
    }
    #nav ul li a {
        font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
        font-size: 14px;
        text-transform: uppercase;
        color: #000;
        text-decoration: none;
        height: 23px;
        padding: 7px 20px;
        border-right-width: thin;
        border-right-style: solid;
        border-right-color: #666;
    }

    Yea hand coding is the best way to go. When I try using something like dreamweaver it looks ugly or just plain screwes up everything. Especially php

    Design is a funny word. Some people think design means how it looks.
    But of course, if you dig deeper, itís really how it works.
