I've been working on a website all week and I have had no browser issues.....until now.

I was updating the design yesterday. Once I finished all of the updates, I uploaded the design. The website was fine in all browsers except for IE 9. I have been researching and looking over code for about 4 hours and I can't find anything.

I have tried adjusting widths and heights of divs, text-aligns, floats, and margins. Nothing worked.

Here is the link to the website: http://www.my-testing-area2.netau.ne...rs_of_america/

Here are some screen shots of the website in IE 9 (from top to bottom):

There is obviously something wrong, but I can't seem to find it.

I have a CSS reset and I have use the .clearfix class when needed. I don't know where to go from here.

    Ideas?

The page is rendering in quirks mode because you have a comment before the DOCTYPE declaration.

It worked. Thank you. The website is due on Tuesday. I was scared to death.

How do you know these random tricks that mess up IE? Do you just pick them up over time or do you research them?

Little from column A, little from column B.

IE9 has a set of dev tools called F12. Can you guess what key to press to bring them up?
Any way, I brought up the dev tool and it shows what rendering engine version is being used. It said quirks mode, so I looked to make sure you were using a DOCTYPE, noticed the comment and searched Google. Sure enough, found what I suspected.

The client said that they wanted every page on the website to be commented with notes so they could take care of all the basic updating. I guess I'll move that comment.
