    website: http://www.gandgtech.com/site (wordpress) the drop down menu appears to be blocked by the site logo. Entire sub menu disappears when Attempting to navigate to sub menu items . Works fine in Chrome, slider is out of wack in FF though. I've read it's a z-index issue, but I've made changes, still nothing. Not sure why it is doing this in IE9. Strange thing also is if you time it right, when the slide show changes, you can then hover sub menu items. Not sure how to fix this? Any ideas? Only happens in IE. Thank you.

    Could be a difference in how browsers handle absolute/relative positioning.

    I think the image sprites on the left/right buttons of the slideshow are whacky, unless they're meant to look like like that.

    I can't duplicate the behavior myself, but if anything's causing it, it's the Flash in the sliders. Flash basically overrides any z-index or CSS positioning and wreaks all kinds of havoc with dropdowns.

    Friends don't let friends use Flash for anything other than watching old episodes of Kung Fu: The Legend Continues on YouTube.

    TheGAME, There is no flash on the page and George, the buttons are messed up as well, any ideas as to the solution for the drop down menu?

    Also, disabling the slider all together there is no change in the problem. The problem appears to be with the menu and the logo. If make the logo smaller so its width doesn't span over to drop down menu area, there are no problems. Obviously that will not work, because I need the logo as larger as it is now.

    Then Flash works on iPad and iPhone devices? If you can find any flash code in the page source, please post it.

    I'm not sure what the iPad/iPhone had to do with anything, but it's showing up in Chrome.
    Code:

     <div class="slide-item">
       <div class="slide-image alignright">
       <object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" width="640" height="360"><param name="wmode" value="opaque" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/fHui2OUbz7M" /><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/fHui2OUbz7M" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always" width="640" height="360" wmode="opaque"></embed></object> </div>

       <div class="slide-text">
       <div class="slide-title"><strong>
       Mobile App Development </strong>
       </div>
       <p>Out team of Mobile application development specialists produces economical solutions by isolating components in an application that hinders development, and solves the problem, with effective and industry standard techniques.</p>
       </div>
       <div class="clear"></div>

    </div>
    I don't think you have a z-index issue, either. You've gone well past the point of resolving it if it were by setting your z-index so high.

    Your logo image is 900 x 125 pixels. Your containing div is only 80 pixels high and 305 pixels wide. Either resize the logo image or the div and you might well solve it.
