    Hello everyone!
I've been toying this for a while, and can't seem to find anything that works. I'm looking to have the main content for my website to be in a center box, with a decorative background behind it. I want to box to be white and the background to be textured.

Thus far, I've achieved all this. However, when I try to make the content div scroll (by adding massive amounts of redundant text), the white background on the div doesn't continue all the way to the bottom of the page. It only extends about halfway down before stopping. This happens in all three browsers I've tried: IE, Firefox, and Chrome.

I'm sure that my mistake is a simple one, and that I'll hate myself for it when I find it out. Thank you in advance to anyone that can help!

Your HTML is confusing - you have a <body> tag and a <div id="body"> tag.
Css seems to be styling them both, once on line 5 and again on line 22.
Rename the <div id="body"> to <div id="content"> (or whatever you like, just not "body"), and remove the height:100% in line 5 of your CSS and see how that works.
