    Hey, I am doing a job project.
    My method was a PS slicer, with an embedded form field.

    Works GREAT in FFox, Chrome, mobile... but when opened in IE... not so great.

    Heres the page I am working on:

    http://clarksvillemls.com/topsearchboxandcss.htm

    I suspect something may be either messed up with my table or div tags...

    If anybody has a code fix... Id be much appreciative, and would be for than willing to toss you a few bucks next week through the ppal for your time.

    Please Help. I am stymeid.

    Also, is there anyway to make the adobe DW design layout windows/Live view display from an IE perspective? (not the preview function, but display for IE through the editor)

    Thanks!!

    :help:

    My guess is that it's because IE traditionally doesn't handle block-level elements as inline-level ones very well.

    Here's what I'd change if it were me:
    Code:
    #idx-searchpage-cityfieldqs, #idx-searchpage-cityfieldinputqs, #idx-propertytypesqs, #idx-maxpriceqs, #idx-maxpriceinputqs, #idx-searchbedroomsqs, #idx-searchbedroomsinputqs, #idx-searchbathroomsqs, #idx-searchbathroomsinputqs {
    width: 180px;
    float:  left;
    color: black;
    }
    Be sure to clear your floats immediately after or you'll have problems across the board.

    Holy Batman! With much tweaking... i think its doing the trick!

    Will it cause problems for me later down the line by killing the "Inline" attrib in the CSS?

    MEGA THANKYOUS!

    Now I owe you a favor- lemme know.

    It shouldn't. It never has for me in the past. You'd be surprised how often that works.

    I figured you'd need to tweak it a fair amount, but the concept would at least get you on the right path.

    I may just call in that favor.
