    Is is possible to make any HTML element that has a certain CSS class applied a link? For example:
    Code:
    <style type="text/css">
    .linkcode
    {
        attribute:http://www.google.com/;
    }
    </style>

    <span class="linkcode">Click this to go to Google</span>

    Nope, CSS is for formatting, HTML is for the functionality of the webpage, and XML is for the information of the webpage... That's w3's idea of what should happen. And it sounds like what you're talking about violates any idea of how HTML is structured in my experience
