Hi guys, this is the first time I have ever been on a forum but just a quick question.

Can somebody please explain why my DIV labelled 'box' is not taking up the full width of the browser?

It seems every browser i use, it does not allow my DIV to fill the entire width of the page. i have set the width to 100% and i have tried to fiddle around with the position but it's not working.

every browser i use seems to leave 8px (for example) of margin all the way around the DIV. I want this margin gone! I have tried 'margin:0; and padding:0; also with 'position:absalute; but nothing

heres what it looks like in IE:

It's hard to see in the image but the slight margin around the DIV, i do not want that there, is there anyway i can remove this?

    heres my code:
    HTML
    html.png and CSS
    css.png

I hope someone can help, the sooner the better, thankyou

Ok so that worked haha, I am working on another site at the moment, I have that line of code written in my body of the CSS and yet it dosnt seem to work with that website, is it possible something could be cancelling the padding and margins out?
