This is my first post on these forums so please bare with me. Besides having a little HTML background and photoshop / web design knowledge from about 10 years ago I haven't had a whole lot of design experience since then. So i started back up a couple months ago and started learning CSS and relearning HTML. I want to start designing web sites so I figured I would start about by designing templates to build my portfolio. So i designed this site I've only got the main page done but I'm running into IE 7 and 8 browser compatibility issues. On my PC in the latest versions of Chrome, Fire Fox, and IE 9 it looks great. I know that there is conditional comments you can use to make your page more browser compatible for IE but i'm just not quite too sure how to go about doing that. I was also wondering if the HTML/CSS looks good to you more experience designers out there. Any feedback / constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated. And if there is any bugs i don't know about please feel free to let me know so i can take care of them. Thanks very much for your help!
