We are working on and use a drop down menu that is in a template we apply to new pages. The pages function fine, but when you try to print the page, some text shows up on the print that isnt visible in the browser.

    look here:

Now I'm not very experienced with css, but I experimented with css print commands on just the .htm file that contains the drop down menu, and i got it to hide the menu altogether when printing. Idealy I want to keep the menu and just eliminate the unwanted text it prints on pages using the template. Any help would be much appreciated!:help:

Without going somewhere to look at something from someone I don't know....

Most CSS drop down menus are based off of unordered list...

If yours is... In your print.css

Make sure to set display:none on whatever divs are being used for the menu's drop downs...

I try to explain to people, if they want to create a seperate CSS file for printing, Take a copy of whatever CSS file is currently working, and redefine the display properties accordingly for what you want to print.
