    I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this question but i'll put it out there anyway.

    I have been trying for days to build a very simple test (in a form format) where the results can be sent to me in any format, preferrably email. The test does not need to be secure.

    I have tried using "ACTION" with the "MAILTO" command, but it doesnt work at all.
    I am comfortable building forms in html, i just don't know how to access the data after the user hits the submit button, therefore making my form completely useless.

    Would somebody please explain to me, in very simple terms, how i can access data from a form?

    Here are somethings I know(though my terminology might be off):
    1. i have enabled PHP
    2. i installed a Mailform template from my webserver and it works by mailing me the results but it is doesn't fit my needs and i don't know how to edit it.
    3. i have enabled MySQL through my server.
    4 i am using mac osx
    5. i am using WebAxxs as my webserver.
    6. I had a sandwich and french fries for dinner.

    Thanks for any help you can offer me!

    When using form attribute in html, if you wish to obtain the values and then do something with them, then try this:

    <form="nameofForm" method="post" action="../php/phpProgram.php">

    Now in the program phpProgram.php you need to use $_GET or $_REQUEST to obtain the values of the fields in your form. You can use PHP to do whatever you want with the values (ie. store in a database).
