    Code for Search with parameters

Hello! I am new to HTML and CSS. I am currently making a website just for learning. Can anyone help me how to make a search option with parameters like in this image?

I doesn't need to be as pretty as this, you can omit "advanced search".

I'd like to learn the code for it and how to connect it into the content of my website.
I will be using wordpress for it in the future. Thanks!

Please feel free to ask me for clarification of my question!

That's not an HTML/CSS question, my friend. That's a server-side programming question. HTML/CSS only displays the fields. You'll need server side programming to create the search itself.

You've got some choices that way, although whatever you choose will take some learning. I'd say if you're going to use W*rdPr*ss (and I wouldn't recommend it), you'll want to learn PHP and MySQL to do the search (PHP is the programming language and MySQL is the database). How exactly you go about it and what further help we can give you from there depends on what the box is for and how much you can pick up on your own.
If I've helped you out in any way, please pay it forward. My wife and I are walking for Autism Speaks. Please donate, and thanks.

If someone helped you out, be sure to "Like" their post and/or help them in kind. The "Like" link is on the bottom right of each post, beside the "Share" link.

    Technically, TheGame is Correct...

The picture you posted is a "form"... and they are pretty basic, they can be built using HTML and the styling can be accomplished with CSS.

Now that being said, that's about all you will get is a pretty form with some selectors and fields you can type in.

If you actually want the form to work when you hit the submit button... then that's where the server side programming comes in.

Sure you could use a static file for the DB and PHP to search through it, but that becomes a real pain to maintain.

A DB is your best option for storing that kind of data and being able to search through it and display the results.
