    Getting Text To Really Work

    I am fairly new to html and am editing Quantumwave | Gatherings. I am using Dreamweaver, and some of the text doesn't look as I'd like it to.

    For example, this is some code for
    "Saturday, April 5th
    Edmonton, Alberta, Canada"

    which does look right:

    Code:
    Saturday,
        April 5th</span></b><b><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; color: rgb(102, 51, 204);"><br />
      </span></b><b><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; color: rgb(204, 51, 255);">
        Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
    and this is the code for:

    "Thursday April 25th - 27th
    San Francisco, California"

    which doesn't look right

    Code:
    <p><b>Thursday April 25th - 27th<br />
    San Francisco, California<b><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; color: rgb(102, 51, 204);"><br />
    I've noticed span tags and other elements that my 'grey text' (which should be purple and larger) does not have.

    Even though Dreamweaver allows me to change the text to purple and make the font larger, it it doesn't appear purple and larger when I upload the file.

    Aside from copying and pasting all the code, and changing the text every time, isn't there another way to make that text really appear purple and larger or any way I want it?

    It appears you are using Design View. Don't do that.

    Do this with your code:
    HTML:
    HTML Code:
    <p>Saturday, April 5<span>th</span></p>
    <p>Edmonton, Alberta, Canada</p>
    CSS:
    Code:
    p{
    color:rgb(102, 51, 204);
    font-family:Arial, sans-serif;
    font-size:14pt;
    font-weight:bold;
    }
    p span{
    font-size:8pt;
    vertical-align:super;
    }

    no, it's not working yet.

    Thanks for the reply, but I don't know where that code goes.

    Do I put the code around each set of text, or once somewhere, or ...?
