Website Scrolls me to the top when I click "back" in browser

On my website, when you scroll down a page and then click a link, then click "back" in the web browser, you will be returned to the top of the previous page. I know many if not most websites will return you to your previous place on that page, however far down you were scrolled.

What can I do to change this?

Not really sure i understand your problem but your website is not working or maybe the link you posted is wrong.
    Could you double check?

    Fixed link (I assume): ballroomguide.com

    Works for me in Chrome.

    My mistake

It appears to work fine for me too in chrome, but not internet explorer. Other websites work in internet explorer, though.

Paulo f, for clarification: scroll down then click a link. then click back. you will go back to the top of the previous page, not where you had been on that page.

Put your GA code and comments inside of the <html> tag. There shouldn't be anything between <!doctype> and <html>

The actual issue though is your skelJS panels. The are causing the back button to not work in IE. You may try finding an alternative or remove it completely.
