    A basic question about form working locally but not remotely

    Hi!
    I have a very basic question so I need to apologize from the beginning, but both me and my buddy working on this we cant find any solution.
    We have a HTML form in a prototype website that upon fulfilling it would return aThankYou page (tack.html). When I test it on my computer locally, it works. When I upload it on the server and test there, it doesnt. No idea what is wrong. Could you please help?
    I add the code here:
    Code:
    <div>
    			<form action="tack.html" method="post">
    				<fieldset>
    					<legend>Vill du att vi tar kontakt med dig eller har du synpunkter, fyll i formuläret</legend>
    						<ul>
    						<li><label for="form-name">Namn:</label> <input type="text" name="username" id="form-name"></li>
    						<li><label for="form-email">E-Mailadress:</label> <input type="email" name="emailaddress" id="form-email"></li>
    						<li><label for="form-tel">Telefonnummer:</label> <input type="tel" name="telephone" id="form-tel"></li>
    						<li><label for="form-story">Synpunkter</label><br>
    						<textarea name="story" rows="4" cols="60" maxlength="300" id="form-story" placeholder="Max 300 tecken"></textarea></li>
    					</ul>
    				</fieldset>

    				<p><input type="submit" value="Addormio!">
    				<input type="reset"></p>
    			</form>
    		</div>

    Is tack.html in the same directory with form file? And, how are you processing submitted form data?

    Yes, same directory. We arent really processing much since it is only a prototype we are making for the university project; so far I just want the thanks page to come up..

    Only action path or file name can make problem here.

    What is happening after form submits? Stays on same page, or displays Error 404 page? If displays Error 404, problem is action path.
    Do you have javascript somewhere? If stays on same page - reason is maybe error in code.

    Check once more is tack.html uploaded.
