    My embedded Google Maps covers the fixed menu.

    Hello there, I am having some problems with my embedded Google Maps, it is actually covering the fixed menu.

    No problem with the codes either:

    #map-canvas {
    background: #fff; border-top-right-radius: 5px; border-top-left-radius: 5px; box-shadow: 0 1px 4px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.3), 0 0 40px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1); padding: 210px 50px; margin-left: 11.5%; margin-top: 0px; width: 70%; }

    #map-canvas:hover {
    box-shadow: 0 1px 14px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.3), 0 0 40px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1);
    }

    If #map-canvas is not a block element add display: block; or move it from the top by position.
