    Embedding Videos & Player Recommendations

    After trying and failing to learn programming for years, I finally found a project that is driving me to make my own website.

    Goals for my first site:

    Responsive design, so I don't have to worry about desktop, mobile, or any screen resolution between.

    Clean & simple design that looks professional.

    Informative and easy to navigate.

    Well commented code.

    I envision the site like this...

    Company logo at top left. Navigation at top (About, Contact, etc.). Top right login/signup button. The majority of the site index page will be a video, explaining the site and how to get involved.

    I'm looking for best ways to embed videos. I know you can use iframe, object, and embed to put in the YouTube player, but I feel it looks tacky and besides basic theme properties, makes it very difficult to customize it. I am also struggling to get the fullscreen button to work, even though I enabled it.

    The code below is terrible (for now) and I plan on building the styling external to the index file using proper CSS, but for now just messing around with basic layout and trying to learn the technologies.

    <link rel="icon" href="favicon.jpg" type="image/gif" sizes="16x16">

    p {
    position: absolute;
    left: 0px;
    right: 0px;
    bottom: 0px;

    <tr> <td> <img src="Company Logo.png" width="150px" height="50px"> </td> </tr>

    <!-- I picked a random video from youtube to test it -->

    <embed width="1440" height="580" src=" arch=0&rel=0&theme=light&color=white"> </embed>

    What other sites should I consider hosting video and using their embed/plugin/API? I'm worried about hosting video on a local server, as video takes up a lot of bandwidth. Should I be concerned with bandwidth with video content less than 6 minutes in total? I think the end site will have 4 videos, no longer than 2 minutes each.

    I liked this site: Digital Agency Birmingham | adaptable.

    What other sites do you recommend to get ideas?

    Any thoughts on frameworks that are responsive? Was looking at Bootstrap and other technologies. Not sure how to apply them though. Does it work like referencing a CSS file?

    Thank you in advance for your help!
