    Lightbox without access to head

I work for a minor league baseball team, and we are looking to publish a list of all of the players from our club who have gone on to play in the major leagues. The idea is to have a name/action shot of every player in a table, and then you can click on their picture and a lightbox filled with their biographical information pops up.

I have been able to accomplish this using Fancybox in coding with Dreamweaver. However, with the website editing platform that is used in Minor League baseball, users can only edit the HTML code in the <body>, thus limiting our use of the plug-ins that Fancybox required.

Any possibilities out there to accomplish the same thing with only using HTML code in the body? I'm fairly new to this so apologies in advance for any obvious answers.

Theoretically, it can be done with pure CSS.

    Pure CSS Lightbox

I don't know if MiLB will let you have access to CSS, though. By the way, was David Price a member of your minor-league team? I'm only asking because I'm from Toronto, a diehard Jays fan, and we just got him!
