Combine http://TEL: and Span class code

Hi,

Can anyone help me...
I have been asked to replace all contact phone numbers on a website and use the following code:
<span class="AVANSERnumber"> 09 969 5577</span>

The issue i have is one of the codes i have used is : <a href="tel:006499695577">Click HERE to Call us now:</a>
Can anyone provide me with a code that will work where i can use the new code and also have it clickable to dial.

Im not sure i understand the question? But if they want the span div to be clickable put it in an anchor tag? Like this?

If you're going to do a span over everything inside the a tag, you should just set the class on the link;
