Row Hover Highlight of (only) a Row in a Child Table

I have a table within a table. I want to set a Hover row background color, but the problem is that the Parent table's row sets the Highlight (too) and thus the whole of my child table is highlighted, rather than just the row in the child table.

I want the hover highlight to work on the parent table too but either not at all on rows that contain a child table (I would probably colspan ALL the parent table's columns) or, if I only colspan one/some of the parent table's row's cells for the child table, then some way of disabling the Hover on that./those cells in the Parent table.

    Fiddle: https://jsfiddle.net/hr6q2w05/

Hi Kristen, just assign class to parent and child tables, using css background-color and hover selector to do the job.
