    Hello everyone,

I am designing a site that is composed of one table with a mix of images and text. The images are spliced to fit together, but when the text in a neighboring cell is put in, it disrupts the sliced image effect. I really need to figure out what to do to keep the text from disruptin the other cells. I've tried nesting tables, played around with every cell attribute available, and anything I could think of, but no luck. My main problem happens in Netscape and AOL. Any ideas? Thanks.

    problem with tables.. screenshot

ok, here is a low res screen shot. The problem should be quite obvious from this, however if code is needed, I will provide. I use dreamweaver to do my layouts.

    Thanks!

I'm not sure there's much you can do other than merging the side right cell and the bottom right cell (i.e., rowspan="2" and delete the bottom one).

Dreamweaver is awesome for table layouts

    thanks

Thanks Filburt1... I figure I am just going to have to play with different cell combinations. the bars that you see on the right and the bottom are actually sliced up, which caused the break when the text was added. I was hoping that someone would know how to keep the text from doing that!:classic:
