I have a left and a right frame that both have objects I would like to line up. In the left frame I have a box drawn in flash extending to the right and for the right frame I'd like to have a table that has the same color as the box and lines up with the other frame so that the user sees only a seamless box in the middle of the screen. As of now I have my table set to a left justify and I have no cellpadding and whatnot, but there is still a split where the table isn't going to the left 100%. Is there any way around this? Or should I try a different method? Thanks for any help!

Try a different method! Frames usually aren't a very good tool to use, and each one will scroll independent of the other, so in the end, they won't line up. Post a link to what you're trying to do, and we can help you.

you can see what i tried to do at http://filebox.vt.edu/users/adfisher ... that is just a couple min of quick work, but the idea that i had was to have a black background with a gray area in the middle that shows all the info. the part on the left was gonna be in flash using animations for the buttons and stuff, and all the content was gonna be in html on the right hand frame. i guess should i just drop the frames idea and use one page that has that template and just throw a flash object into where the links should go?

On 8x6 res you can scroll one frame but not the other :P

Anyway you could just do this with CSS positioning and it would scroll together

yea i know about the whole scrolling issue. it was put together really quickly not necessarily to work correctly. all i was trying to do was to get the two sides to line up seamlessly. can that be done using css positioning??
