    Do I have a corrupt .htaccess file -- and How do I fix it

    I noticed weird language on my htaccess file in wordpress. Here it is:

    # BEGIN Far Future Expiration Plugin
    <IfModule mod_expires.c>
    ExpiresActive on
    <FilesMatch "\.(gif|jpeg|jpg|png)$">
    ExpiresDefault "access plus 1440 hours"
    </FilesMatch>
    </IfModule>
    # END Far Future Expiration Plugin

    # BEGIN WPSuperCache
    # END WPSuperCache

    # BEGIN WordPress
    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
    </IfModule>

    # END WordPress

    Is it corrupted, and if so, how do I fix? Could this be causing internal server errors?

    No, it's not corrupted. You have a WordPress plugin installed which writes its own code to the htaccess file. Do a search for Far Future Expiration Plugin and you will find more information about it. I tried to add a link to a previous reply but I presume this isn't allowed as the reply failed to appear.
