    I have created a CSS Style with 'a:link, a:visited, a:hover, a:active' options and I have applied it successfully into my link. But the underline continue there.
    I use a linked stylesheet file with Dreamweaver MX, and I have defined 'a:link' without underline. How can I do it so that the underline disappear?

    Thanks,
    Cesar

    a:link {
    text-decoration: none;
    }

    <td height="23" background="index.asp" bgcolor="#CCCCCC">
    <script language="JavaScript">
    a:link {
    text-decoration: none;
    }
    </script>

    <strong><a href="index.asp" class="letter1Menu">Home</a> </strong></td>

    It should be...
    Code:
    <html>
    <head>
    <style type="text/css">
    a:link {
    text-decoration: none;
    }
    .letter1Menu {
    text-decoration: none;
    }
    </style>
    </head>
    <body>
    <table>
    <tr>
    <td>
    <b><a class="letter1Menu">Home</a></b>
    </td>
    </tr>
    </table>
    </body>
    </html>

    Or inside the stylesheet (the one with the letter1Menu class inside it) that you are using for the link put:
    text-decoration:none;

    Remember that CSS is in no way related to Javascript and it isn't a scripting language (which is why it has it's own <style> tags)

    I already solved the problem without typed code. As I said I use a linked style sheet file with Dreamweaver MX and exists an easier option in a dialog box.

    Thank you,
    Cesar
