    Ok. I have a table and set the background to a repeating image. I want this table to span across the page 100%. However I set all the attributes and the table does not even show up. I have tried creating a blank transparent image and setting the width to 100% - that doesn't work. It can't be anything hard coded because it needs to be resolution independant.

    This is what I have now.
    Code:
    <table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" wdith="100%">
    <tr>
    <td width="100%" height="30" background="seperatorback.gif"></td>
    </tr>
    </table>
    I have also tried specifying an absolute width like 200px and it works. But how come the 100% doesn't.

    If anyone can come up with a solution for this, I will be very greatful.

    Thanks in advance!

    could it be because youve spelt width incorrectly?..your table works fine, turn the border on and you'll see..maybe the path to your image is what you're getting wrong

    Oh man, do I feel stupid. Heh, thanks. For the life of me I couldn't figure out how it wasn't working. I have been working on this site and code for the past 2 days.... I guess when you have been looking at it so long it all looks right.

    Thanks for catching my little speeling (haha) error.

    You also need something in that cell. If you were planning on leaving it empty the just enter &nbsp;
