    http://www.millersminimix.com

    I put together the above quickie site for a small biz. The problem is that I had someone else slice and do the basic html on it. For some reason the tables are not FULL centering (both horizontally and verticallyl). I've gone through the code and can't figure out what's wrong. Can anyone figure this out?

    can't see the source, but don't forget, there are two properties to specify alignment:

    align="center"
    valign="middle"

    without valign, you won't align vertically.

    Could always give the top and bottom margins a value of 25%...

    make a table 100% wide and 100% tall, then the VALGIN code will work inside it.

    I wonder why you can't see the source code, I didn't block it.

    Well you guys said to:
    align="center"
    valign="middle"
    make a table 100% wide and 100% tall, then the VALGIN code will work inside it.

    That's exactly what I did. It's worked on all the other sites that I've done it one, but it's not working here. As I said, I can't figure out what's dif or missing.
    The code is:

    <html>
    <head>
    <title>Miller's Mini Mix Concrete</title>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="stylesheet.css" type="text/css" />
    </head>

    <body topmargin="0" bottommargin="0" leftmargin="0" rightmargin="0" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0">
    <center>
    <TABLE WIDTH="100%" HEIGHT="100%">

    <TR><TD VALIGN="middle" ALIGN="center" >
    <table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="760" class="stripes">

    <tr>
    <td width="56"><img src="images/pixel.gif" width="56" height="1" alt="" /></td>
    <td height="122">&nbsp;</td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td><img src="images/pixel.gif" width="56" height="1" alt="" /></td>
    <td align="left"><img src="images/truck.jpg" width="326" height="246" alt="" /><br />

    <a href="about.html" class="blk_nav">About</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href="yardage.html" class="blk_nav">Yardage</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href="client.html" class="blk_nav">Client Photos</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href="advantage.html" class="blk_nav">Advantages</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href="materials.html" class="blk_nav">Materials</a></td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td><img src="images/pixel2.gif" width="15" height="1" alt="" /></td>
    <td align="right"><img src="images/mm_logo.gif" width="358" height="88" alt="" /></td>
    <td align="right"><img src="images/pixel2.gif" width="15" height="1" alt="" /></td>

    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td><img src="images/pixel2.gif" width="15" height="1" alt="" /></td>
    <td align="right"><span class="addr">27930 NW Evergreen Rd., Hillsboro, OR 97124, (503) 693-8478</span></td>
    <td align="right"><img src="images/pixel2.gif" width="15" height="1" alt="" /></td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td colspan="3">&nbsp;</td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td colspan="3" class="btm_bar">&nbsp;</td>
    </tr>
    </tr>
    </table></td>
    </tr>
    </table>
    </center>

    </body>
    </html>

    The style sheet has this:
    body {
    background-color: #cccccc;
    color: #666666;
    font-family: Arial;
    font-size: 11px;
    margin: 25px 0px 25px 0px;
    }

    I wasn't able to see the source because your site was down ;-) Perhaps I should have explained better.

    try table{margin:25% } in your CSS.

    that didn't work. What i did was
    margin: 6% 0px 25px 0px;

    This works well in ie, but not quite so well in netscape. It will do for now, but still it totally irks me that I can't figure out why the table is not centering correctly.

    the person who sliced it and did the html may have done something, couldn't u do this yourself if you have fireworks and dreamweaver? it would fix the problem and be alot easier but thats only if you got those programs. it would take prob., depending on skill, 5-10 min to slice and edit that part of the site.
