Here's the deal. I have one image. I have one page. I want the image centered vertically and horizontally on the page. BUT i can't get it. On IE5(mac osx) it works but netscape it doesnt. on my windows machine with IE6(?) it doesnt work either.

I have played with adjusting table margins and padding, img margins and padding, and body margins and padding using percentages with CSS. The way it works on one browser is by setting the table height to 100% and valign it to middle. But one browser is not good enough.

    Any ideas?
    eric

ps. how does flash do it so well?

What exactly is wrong with it on the non-working browsers? Is it only horiz that's messed up, vert, or both?

Sorry, I wasn't clear about that. I can center it horizontally, thats not a problem. It's centering vertically that is the problem.

Don't put the image in a table and give it a margin:25%.

here's the link to the page I am playing with:
    http://ericbusch.net/sample_airbusch/.

Right now the table is the only thing that is adjusted. i have deleted the margins out for now.

I will try to take it out of a table and set the margins of the img to 25% and see how that works.

    Thanks
    eric
