    how do you sepecify css link colours, rolloever etc. from a style sheet to different sections of a page (main, nav, footer...)
    ????????????

    example:
    the footer of tha page I'm making has a lime green background, thus I made the links white. but my "realated links" section has a light grey background and you almost can't see the links. I want to make the links in the "realated links" section black but still keep the whit link colour of the footer.

    P.S. the whole layout of my page is made with div, no tables.

    Use two link styles, name one a.white, and the hover class for that would be 'a.white:hover', and the other, black links can be names 'a.black' and the hover class for that would be 'a.black:hover'. use css code - "class="black" or class="white" in the <a href> tags to apply each css style.

    In the stylesheet:

    Code:
    <style type=text/css>
    a.black {
      font-size: 12pt;
      font-family: Verdana, Arial;
      font-weight: bold;
      text-decoration: none;
      color: #000000;
    }
    a.black:hover {
      font-size: 12pt;
      font-family: Verdana, Arial;
      font-weight: bold;
      text-decoration: underline;
      color: #000000;
    }
    a.white {
      font-size: 12pt;
      font-family: Verdana, Arial;
      font-weight: bold;
      text-decoration: none;
      color: #FFFFFF;
    }
    a.white:hover {
      font-size: 12pt;
      font-family: Verdana, Arial;
      font-weight: bold;
      text-decoration: underline;
      color: #FFFFFF;
    }
    </style>
    Would be an example of what your stylesheet might look like. Hope it helps.
