    Hi Guys,

Ive started to design this site using only CSS for layout. Ive got it pretty much laid out how i want it, but the problem is, it only displays correctly in IE6. Firebird, as well as probably the other Geko browsers display it wrong, especially the main content div. If you know a workaround to make the page look like it does in IE6 for the other browsers, (only with CSS if possible) please tell me.

Feel free to d/l and modify the xhtml and css as much as u want.

    Thanks alot!!

    Read the rules about bumping...

I think it is something to do with the way you have defined the page margins on the page... I haven't looked at the cod,e but it seems that might be a problem, else just check your absolute positioning of your DIVs is correct.

Sorry about the bumping, didnt realize it was not allowed.

Anyway, margins for body are set to zero, dont see why that would affect the content div.

Also, im not using any absolute positioning. They just follow the normal flow of the document. Works fine in IE, which is wierd, cuz usually its IE thats having the problems with the CSS not Firebird, Mozilla ect.

    EDIT: Ok just to clarify:

    DISPLAYS CORRECTLY IN:
    -Internet Explorer 6.0

    DISPLAYS INCORRECTLY IN:
    -Netscape 6.2
    -Mozilla
    -Firebird
    -Opera

Maverick, that is still considered bumping. Please do not respond to your own thread within 24 hours of your last post, unless someone else has responded. Give members some time to respond. If you bump this thread again, it will be locked.

Hey guys, been 24 hours since my last post. Just wondering if anybody had a solution. Im real desperate, I have no idea how to fix the bug while keeping the same layout and not breaking the site in IE.

    Thanx in advance.
