    How do I go about specifying the width of <div> tags, and also keep them contained w/ in the content <div> of the page. I'm using ASP to pull records from a database and display an image and a caption, and a repeat region to get all of the galleries. What I need to do is limit the size of the <div> that hold the image/caption to 105px, and not allow the <div>s to go outside of the content <div> of the page. The CSS style for the image/caption is as follows:

    .gallery_image {
    float:left;
    margin:0px 4px 0px 0px;
    display:inline;
    white-space:normal;
    max-width:105px
    }

    For some reason thou, the max-width isn't working. The <div> fits to the width of the caption text that is in there, which I don't want.

    Take note though that part of my problem will seem non-existant depending on your screen resolution. Mine's at 1280x1024 and it works fine, but it doesn't work at 1024x768 (this would be the problem of the galleries not being 'contained' in the content). Even opening a sidebar such as search, favorites, history, etc. is enough to throw it off.
