I have an image map set already, but when I pasted it onto the website it didn't take up the whole webpage. I'm not sure how to fix it or center it. Any suggestions? Or perhaps a site that may explain how to fix it? Below is what I used (with the exception of the URLs). It shows up as a 800x600 image. I want it to take up the whole page. Did I do something wrong? Should I have approached or designed this differently? This is my first time working with image maps so I don't really know much about them or even if CSS or HTMl codes can fix it, so sorry if this falls under the wrong category.

Here is an example on an old website (except the links have been removed since it is outdated):

I could never get it to take up the whole page or to even paste a text box on it. What should I do?

I checked out the site and tried to follow their tutorial, but it brought me nowhere. I still haven't managed to fill the entire page with that image. Is there another way to create a menu using my own backgrounds besides using an image map?
