    Why does W3C say that this scrollbar code in the body section:

    Code:
    	scrollbar-arrow-color: #999999;
    	scrollbar-3dlight-color: #999999;
    	scrollbar-highlight-color: #FFFFFF;
    	scrollbar-face-color: #FFFFFF;
    	scrollbar-shadow-color: #999999;
    	scrollbar-darkshadow-color: #999999;
    	scrollbar-track-color: #FFFFFF;
    is invalid? Im not too clear on what makes code valid or not.

    It is IE-only and "bad' from a design standpoint.

    Well no, it would be possible for a browser not to support the CSS Spec fully, in fact none of them do to the letter.

    As yet, however, I've had no compatiility problems in IE, Firefox/Firebird or Mozilla with validated CSS coding.

    With IE's use of CSS, it's pretty much only an issue of time until you get problems. IE's CSS rendering can be abismal sometimes.
