    Hi All,

    I have a page with 3 versions

    http://www.lowquebec.ca
    http://www.lowquebec.ca/test.htm
    http://www.lowquebec.ca/test2.htm

    All have different variations on image rollovers with the English and French buttons. All are however not working in NS, in particular NS4.61. With the main version, this is created with UD. With the 2 test versions, the rollovers do not even work in IE now!!! And these pages come from coding searched out on Google....

    Why is this? What is the comon problem??

    Any info would be much appreciated

    TIA,

    Try this:

    function changeImages(NewImage, ButtonName) {
    var temp;
    if (document.images) {
    temp = eval (NewImage + ".src");
    document.images[ButtonName].src = temp;
    }
    }
    if (document.images) {
    var enbutton=new Image();
    enbutton.src="_images/splash/en_btn_20-BEFORE.gif";
    var enbutton2=new Image();
    enbutton2.src="_images/splash/en_btn_20.gif";
    var frbutton=new Image();
    frbutton.src="_images/splash/fr_btn_31-BEFORE.gif";
    var frbutton2=new Image();
    frbutton2.src="_images/splash/fr_btn_31.gif";
    }

    Put this either in your head or a JS file. I find a JS file works faster.

    Then in your body, onMouseOver="changeImages ('enbutton2', 'enbutton')" , etc.

    very nice site

    if you cannot fix this problem you could use some code to redirect the different browsers to the relevent site.

    Thanks to all for the help.

    I was able to resolve the problem.. The events on the rollovers should be within the <a> tags and not outside of them. Older versions of NS have a hard time recognizing them if they are not contained within the <a> tags....

    Thanks Again.
