    Hello to all!
    I need help.
My web designer ditched me by going in the unkonwn direction.
He left me with a web page done in HTML, I know nothing about the coding so instead of continuing with the old site I made myself a site with the Yahoo web builder.
Now can you guys give me a clue how to link an old site with a new one using an HTML, and what this code should look like? I have all passwords, but don't know where to go.
Also how do you secure pictures on the site.
    Many many thanks
    :classic:

Do you have links? Links would do wonders (so we can see what's really going on)

Protecting images is a bit complicated, but first you need to make sure your host supports .htaccess files, if not then you really can't protect the images (you can mess around with stupid javascript, but nothing real)

To make a simple link in HTML the code would look something like this:

    Code:
    <a href="http://www.domain.com">link</a>
Of course you need to replace the "http://www.domain.com" with the address of the new or old site as well as the "link" text to the text you want for your link.

Although you might be fine with this solution for now you might consider getting somebody to finish the job properly.
