    Im working with CSS and
    Im trying to get a top and bottom border set to 150px with a color of #000033 and the middle #FFFFFF
    but for some reason i can only get it to work when i use percentages but because of what i am doing i need it to use certian pixel sizes.

    here is what I have so far: www.mklaro.com/example

    I have tried a few things and im not getting it.
    I would appreciate any help I could get.

    Thanks!!

    <head>
    <style>
    body {
    margin:0px;
    color:#ffffff;
    background-color:#000033;

    }

    A { color: #ffffff; font-family:verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size:11px; text-decoration: none; }
    A:link { color: #ffffff; text-decoration: none; }
    A:visited { color: #ffffff; text-decoration: none; }
    A:active { color: #ffffff; text-decoration: none; }
    A:hover { color: #ffffff; background-color:#000463; font-weight:bold; }

    #main {
    position:absolute;

    top:150px;
    bottom:150px;
    background-color:#FFFFFF;
    height:100%;
    width:100%;
    padding-left:0px;
    padding-right:0px;
    padding-top:5px;
    padding-bottom:5px
    }
    </style>
    </head>

    <BODY scroll="no">

    <div class="type1" width:"1176"; height:"94">
