    Hi guys,

    I'm a total newbie when it comes to this stuff, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Here's the problem:
    I have my domain and webhosting through ipowerweb. I made a web file in Frontpage 2000. It contains a home page with a hyperlink to my next page. I clicked 'follow hyperlinks' in F.P. and it transfers to the second page fine. After I publish it, and call up the page on I.E. the hyperlink directs me to some other url jargon page in my directory (not the second page).

    What is strange is:
    If I type in http://www.mydomain.com/, my homepage is fine.

    If I type in http://www.mydomain.com/page2.htm, the correct page appears.

    But, if I have my hyperlink written as http://www.mydomain.com/page2.htm , it redirects me to that jargon page.

    Please help!!!

    Thanks.

    The first works, and the other two give 404 errors

    sure, go to:

    http://www.cap-yo-***.com (this is the home page)

    if you click on the 'studio' button, it should take you to:

    http://www.cap-yo-***.com/Studio.htm

    but it doesn't.

    Do I need some other directory info in my link?

    Thanks.

    Maybe I'm missing somethimg, because I always get redirected to a URL that says: FORM CONFIRMATION. Thank you for selecting B1: Studio (B1 is the button name).

    Is there something else that could be causing this?

    Thanks.

    So, what do I need to do to get the button to send users to the studio page?

    Sorry, but I never did this stuff before (I'm sure it shows).

    Should I change my hyperlink in front page, or is there something else that needs to be done?

    Thanks.

    well... for one... you shouldn't be using form elements as links.

    if you want a button type link i suggest you use css. for example...
    Code:
    <a href="..." style="width: 150px; height: 25px;
    background-color: #ccc; border: 1px solid #000;
    color: #000; text-align: center;">STUDIO</a>

    Thanks a million. It works!

    Now, I just need to get stuff positioned properly.
