    I just learned layouts using frames. Most of my codes works right, but one proble. I dont know how to explain it but when i press my home page link the whole layout opens up. Check it out yourself and press the home link.

    This is the code for my layout

    <HTML>
    <HEAD>
    <TITLE>Decal~Tradez</TITLE>
    </HEAD>

    <FRAMESET ROWS="30%,70%">
    <FRAME SRC="header.htm" SCROLLING="NO">

    <FRAMESET COLS="25%,75%">
    <FRAME SRC="menu.htm">
    <FRAME SRC="home.htm" NAME="HOME">

    </FRAMESET>
    </FRAMESET>

    </HTML>

    and this is my code for hte navigaiton page

    <HTML>
    <BODY BGCOLOR="#FFCC00" FONT="NAVY">

    <P><A HREF="layout.htm" TARGET="HOME">Home</A></P>

    <P><A HREF="Originals.htm" TARGET="HOME">Originals</A></P>

    <P><A HREF="ladder.htm" TARGET="HOME">Ladder Names</A></P>

    <P><A HREF="Players.htm" TARGET="HOME">Legit & Jipper</A></P>

    <P><A HREF="Gateway.htm" TARGET="HOME">New Gateway</A></P>

    </BODY>
    </HTML>

    If you know whats worng please tell me

    You're reloading the whole frame page within one frame of itself hence the nesting.

    Change this:
    Code:
    <P><A HREF="layout.htm" TARGET="HOME">Home</A></P>
    to this:
    Code:
    <P><A HREF="layout.htm" TARGET="_top">Home</A></P>
    and it should be ok.

    If I may offer a word of advice. If you are starting out with web design don't spend any time designing with frames. They are widely disliked and a much better effect can be achieved using CSS and included files.

    CSS (Stylesheets) and tables where it's necessary. Take a look at www.w3schools for tutorials on using these.
