    I hear people talking about iframes. What are they? What is a div layer?

    An iframe is an inline frame. A div / layer is a page division. They work similarly, only an iframe references an external page source. See http://www.w3schools.com for more information.

    It's also something that most people would recommend you NOT use.

    It can be a useful tool, however.

    Argument that can't seem to stay dead on this forum . . .
    Bookmarking and serachbotting (like Google), issues result from useing iframes too much, along with so many more arguments. They are useful for quoting other pages, but not good for laying out your own page, since they mess up your search ratings, they cannot be viewed by some browsers (the old ones), and they can damage bookmarking. Most would say for anything other than a quoted area of another's site, you should use server side require functions.
    Whoth steps forth to mock the teal? Whom couldst say a color superior!
