This is the first time I've gotten something to work in NS and not IE.

I'm having trouble getting a 2 columnal divs to line up properly in IE, however it's working fine in NS. I'm using a lot of divs on the page, but these two are in a container div of their own. What I have is a bg img that looks like the borders I'm trying to achieve. I have tried float:left on both of them, and float:left on the left one and float:right on the right one... I've tried display:inline on both.

    .HTML: www.pixellatedfool.com/problems/main.html

    .CSS: www.pixellatedfool.com/problems/agony_style.css

Notes: I have given each div very specific widths and heights that should fit perfectly. (left is 160 and right is 375 = 535, the width of the container which has no borders, padding, or margins).

    Thanks for any help !

You might wanna run your html, and css through an html validator and fix up some of those errors first.

Shorten it by a few pixels and see if ti works. IE has issues adding a lot of the times.

You're both very right. I have managed perfect css before but it's a pain in the rear, though I'll probably end up checking it.

I changed a few things and added the box model hack and now it seems to work ALMOST perfectly, though the right div is just about 20 px too low, so I'll keep trying things. Tweak tweak.

Brak, I know what you mean and that's usually what I have to do.

Since I've fixed at least the problem of making the divs float properly, I'll mark this problem answered.

WHOO ok! I got it. I'm stupid. There was a HORRIBLE ERROR in my html hahaha. I designed thinking I had a container div around those two middle divs and it was just sitting there with it's endtag like a little jerk. Haha. So I deleted it.

    Sorry for the trouble guys!
