Wow I'm really starting to get sick of browser incompatability. I've had this problem more than once this week, and I still haven't quite figured out an easy workaround.

Basically what I have is a container div with a background image simulating two columns. Inside that container div are two more divs, that serve as the columns.

This is all great, but in netscape, of course, the background in the container div doesn't show up (because I guess NS doesn't regognize having DIVS inside a div, only textual and image content).

Does anyone know if there's a way to deal with this?

    Thanks a ton

Use a table, that will fix it right up.
Probably not the answer you want, but a viable one nevertheless.
Whoth steps forth to mock the teal? Whom couldst say a color superior!

Proclamith me, it cannot be done.

This is the site in it's crappiest form, but you get the picture of what I'm trying to do: www.pixellatedfool.com/problems/clean.html

I thought I had 10 reasons for not using tables, but I think I'll spend a little time and try it even though it's a royal pain in the butt.

    Thanks for the moment haha

Wow that was it. Thanks a ton man, I didn't realize that that would work... That's probably the only workaround available right now.
If I have to, I can even put divs inside the table and it works, so ROCK. Yay.
    Thanks!

Yep, tables are great for reverse-compatibility.
