    Hello, I have an image for a background in a table.
    If I don't want the image to repeat but to be shown only once I will have to add in CSS no-repeat or what ?
    Any help ?

    Code:
    table td {
    background-image: url(your_file.jpg);
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    }
    Just for clarification

    Or you can cheat and the bg image really large, but watch you file size.

    This isn't cheating, as much as it is silly and wasteful. CSS is much cleaner, more reliable and faster loading than just making a huge bg image.
