    Jeez:
    Code:
            For i = 0 To UBound(ParsedHeaders)
                For J = 0 To UBound(Subscriptions)
                    If Subscriptions(J).Name = ParsedHeaders(i).Category Then
                        If Subscriptions(J).Subscribed Then
                            If isArrayEmpty_Header(FinalHeaders) Then
                                ReDim FinalHeaders(0 To 0)
                                FinalHeaders(0) = ParsedHeaders(i)
                            Else
                                ReDim Preserve FinalHeaders(0 To UBound(FinalHeaders) + 1)
                                FinalHeaders(UBound(FinalHeaders)) = ParsedHeaders(i)
                            End If
                        End If
                    End If
                Next J

Well tied yesterday's PHP brace record:
    Code:
                        Next i
                    End With
                End If
            End If
        End If
    End Sub

VB doesn't evaluate expressions like C++/Java. It first evaluates all expressions and then determines the boolean result unlike C++/Java which will immediately make the boolean result true/false once there is no other possible outcome. This way (nested ifs) saves CPU time, but C++/Java's way is far superior.

I am sure I read somewhere that it ignores the second expression if the first is false, MSDN I think.

Ahhhhh, so if you you typed the code like this it would be slower?

    Code:
            For i = 0 To UBound(ParsedHeaders)
                For J = 0 To UBound(Subscriptions)
                    If Subscriptions(J).Name = ParsedHeaders(i).Category and Subscriptions(J).Subscribed then
                            If isArrayEmpty_Header(FinalHeaders) Then
                                ReDim FinalHeaders(0 To 0)
                                FinalHeaders(0) = ParsedHeaders(i)
                            Else
                                ReDim Preserve FinalHeaders(0 To UBound(FinalHeaders) + 1)
                                FinalHeaders(UBound(FinalHeaders)) = ParsedHeaders(i)
                        End If
                    End If
                Next J
            Next i
