    hello,

    im having an issue with JQUERY im trying to use this "browser tweak" from the JQUERY web site to fix png transparency in IE.

    the image below (logo.png) displays with a light gray border around it and has a red X like the image was not loaded.. also the CSS for the image is being ignored.

    im not sure why this is happening...anyone have any suggestions.

    thanks
    Code:
    <script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="../scripts/javascript/jquery-1.2.1.js"></script>
    <script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="../scripts/javascript/jquery.ifixpng.js"></script>
    <script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" >
    $(document).ready(function(){
    	$('img[@src$=.png]').ifixpng();
    });
    </script>

    </head>
    <body>
    		<div id="header_container">
    			<div id="header_logo">
    				<a href="../index.php">
    				<img src="../styles/images/logo.png" border="0" width="577" height="52" style="width="577" height="52" style="padding-top:30px; height:52px; width:577px;">
    				</a>
    			</div>

    		</div>

    All the code looks right. JQuery just updated to 1.2, but the plugin has not, maybe that is an issue?

    Not sure about the "X" or the CSS either.

    Are the paths to your external files all correct (may seem simple, but if that's the issue, it would resolve everything, supposedly right)?

    edit: I wonder about the period in the selector. It should be literal and not matter, but since the period, in jQuery generally indicates a class, I wonder if taking it out would make a difference. [minicode]$('img[@src$=png]')[/minicode]

    I have an eye for detail like you'd never believe.
